Thief Chapter 3: The Podium Puzzle

This is more of a run-a-round than it is a puzzle. Go down the stairs, and place the key into the podium. Garrett makes a comment about the symbols on the dial. You automatically take it back out, so you can hunt the symbols down.

All you have to do is check out the peep holes, as well as the wall with three white stripes on it, in front of the podium. Use focus on the wall, and the three peep holes that don't have a cut scene. Go back to the podium, and place the key back in its slot.

Before you set it down, you use get the message that you can rotate the rings on the key with the D-Pad (the up, down, right, left, button under the left analog stick). Just rotate the rings until the highlighted symbols are all aligned, from top to bottom. 

When you're done aligning the symbols, place the key in the slot, and the secret door (the wall with the white stripes) opens. You're now on your way to the hidden library.
